The Beaver Creek Food Bank is always accepting donations for their monthly and emergency distributions. Canned, dry and other non-perishable goods are accepted at all times at Beaver Creek School. Perishable items will be accepted during the week prior to the 2nd Saturday Food Distribution. Monetary donations are also appreciated. These help to provide meat for the 2nd Saturday Distribution and help fill the weekly food backpacks for children. Questions? Call Margo at Beaver Creek School at 928=567-4631.
New Recycling Service for Beaver Creek
This month is the 4-year anniversary of Verde Earthworks being in business. To celebrate this mark and also the opening of their office in Rimrock on the ridge overlooking Cornville Rd, Kate Blevins and company are offering the first 50 Creekers who sign up for curbside recycling the senior discount regardless of age. This is $37.70 per quarter and includes the bin. Residences must be on a paved road, and small households may share a pick up. Kate informs us that 15 to 20% of residents may use a central recycling location but up to 50% may step up if curbside recycling is offered. So if this fits your needs, please call Verde Earthworks at 284-3778 or use the web link: www.verdeearthworks.com .
