Several standing committees of the Beaver Creek Regional Council work to bring you information and facts regarding issues affecting our community.

Beaver Creek Community Plan Update - VISION 2020
The Beaver Creek Community Plan committee is responsible for the review and update of the Beaver Creek Plan of 1992 and writing of the VISION 2020 plan for the community by involving area residents in Community Surveys, Visioning Workshops and through the collection of related data.
The purpose of the Planning and Zoning Committee is to coordinate all matters dealing with zoning, building, and growth in the Communities of Beaver Creek. Accordingly, its goals are:
- To help preserve the rural lifestyle of the communities of Beaver Creek by coordinating the purpose and goals of the Council and the Verde Valley Regional Plan with development projects within and adjacent to the Communities of Beaver Creek, and to cooperate with Yavapai County officials to uphold the County Ordinances.
The purpose of the Transportation Committee is to advise all matters dealing with roads and their maintenance throughout the Communities of Beaver Creek. Accordingly, its goals are:
- To identify the transportation issues affecting the Communities of Beaver Creek, primarily those identified in the Verde Valley Regional Plan.

The purpose of the Water Resources Committee shall be to participate in coordinating planning for the use of water resources in the Communities of Beaver Creek. Accordingly, its goals are:
- Assure an adequate quality water supply for current and future citizens.
- Maintain a healthy riparian ecosystem that is so important to the identity of our community.
The purpose of the Open Space and Recreation Committee shall be to create a vision for the community's need for open space and recreation. Accordingly, its goals are:
- To Identify future parks and open space.
- In cooperation with the Transportation committee - work to establish an interconnected trail system to provide needed off road access residents to access other parts of the community outside of their cars.
- To generate recreational opportunities for all residents.
Youth ~Family & Education Services Committee
The purpose of the Youth and Family Services Committee shall be to create a supportive environment for the community's youth and their families. Accordingly its goals are :
- To generate social, recreational and educational opportunities for all residents, with special attention being given to school-age youth.
- Advocate for the health and welfare of Beaver Creek residents.
- Coordinates Food Coop and Food Bank programs

Sponsored by local organizations include: MLK Day of Service; Buzzard’s Day; 4th of July Pancake Breakfast & Parade; Halloween Spooktacular; Christmas Village; Spaghetti Dinners, Book Sales; Rummage Sales; Community Clean-up and more.

Sponsorship of forums and workshops on community interest issues including: Tax Bond Issues; Septic Systems Care and Installation, Water Adjudication; Candidate Forums; Public Hearings; Leadership Development, Health Clinics; and other issues of importance to the Beaver Creek community.

The title of the Legacy Project is Echoes from the Verde Confluence, capture the rich history of the area once known as Lower Verde through the process of digital storytelling. Digital stories are typically short vignettes, composed of narration and voice-over, combined with video footage, still photographs, and graphics.
